Agraev is a new online law program at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa.
It will allow graduates of Israeli universities to obtain their master’s degree in the field of agro-chemical engineering and microbiology from the Technian.
The course will be offered by the Technia University of Technology, a part of the Techni-Tzuva University system, according to the Ministry of Education.
The online degree will be available from June 1, 2019.
According to the Technic-Israel website, the degree is offered “to people who have completed an online course at an accredited institution and are ready to start their own careers in the fields of agri-chemicals, agrochemicals engineering and agricultural sciences.”
According to the institute’s website, graduates of Agraeva will also have the opportunity to participate in international conferences and competitions, which include the Agrochemistry Competition and the World Agricultural Chemistry Competition.
Agraeva is part of a broader online education program.
In 2015, Technia also launched the Agra-Agri-Biotech (AAB) program, which allows graduates of agricultural colleges to study in agriculture and other fields.
AAB is aimed at people interested in the sciences of agriculture and agroecology.
The Technia program, meanwhile, is part “of Technion’s commitment to promote the development of advanced technology and knowledge and the creation of a world-class education for the Israeli population,” according to a ministry statement.
According to Technia’s website:The Technian aims to provide the right educational environment for young people, who are interested in pursuing their technical, academic, and creative interests in a more dynamic and stimulating environment.
