Students who get their bachelor’s degree in education get a pay boost in retirement

The average salary of a bachelor’s-level education degree in the U.S. is $60,000 per year, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

But that figure is higher for those who have gone on to earn a master’s degree or Ph.

D. In 2018, a bachelor of arts degree earned a median salary of $66,000, while a master of science degree earned $63,000.

In 2019, bachelor’s degrees earned an average of $67,000 and Ph.

Ds earned an median of $71,000 according to BLS.

In 2020, bachelor of science degrees earned $73,000 while master of arts degrees earned a whopping $75,000 in 2019.

BLS says that the wage premium for bachelor’s graduates in the United States was more than $10,000 higher than for those with master’s degrees.
